Due to the rising number of COVID-19 cases in Connecticut and in East Granby, effective December 28, 2020 access to town buildings will be by appointment only. Although all buildings will be closed to walk-in traffic, town employees will continue to report to duty and will be available to receive correspondence and to schedule in-person appointments for services that cannot be completed by telephone, mail, e-mail or virtually. Masks and social distancing will still be required for in-person appointments.

Correspondence Drop Box – There is a black drop box located outside the main Town Hall entrance for correspondence related to the Assessor, Town Clerk, and Selectman’s office. For all other business please call the respective office directly. This box is not used for tax payments.

Tax Payment Drop Boxes – please note that only checks or money orders are accepted at the two drop box locations listed below.

  • New secure payment box located adjacent to the Tax Office at the entrance closest to the Community Center and Police Department
  • Secure white and silver payment box located at the front entrance to Town Hall
