Adopt-A-Road Program
Do you want to make a visible difference in your community?
The Town of East Granby is looking for volunteers to join the Adopt-A-Road Program.
When you adopt a road, you and your group commit to keeping a section of roadway clean throughout the year. It is a simple way to protect our environment, keep our neighborhoods looking great, and build community pride.
Who can participate
- Individuals and familiesÂ
- Businesses
- Scout troops and youth groups
- Community and faith-based organizations
What is involved
- Adopt a road segment (about 1–2 miles)
- Complete 3 clean-ups per year
- DPW provides safety gear, bags, and training
- Your group gets recognized with a road sign
This is a great opportunity for service hours, team building or giving back as a family.
Each volunteer group will be entered into a lottery in June to receive one of seven free dump passes for the following year.
