NOTE: All Youth Services Commission Meetings will be held in the Sears House at East Granby Farms.
DESCRIPTION
The East Granby Youth Services Bureau (YSB) plans, evaluates, coordinates, and implements a range of resources and opportunities to support children, youth, and their families in East Granby.
The Youth Services Commission serves in an advisory capacity and supports the mission and staff of the YSB. Members are appointed by the Board of Selectmen and represent various segments of the community including law enforcement, education, children and families, and local businesses and organizations.
The Commission on Youth Services has seven members: five adults and two student representatives. Adults serve three-year terms, while students serve for at least one year.
The Commission meets the third Monday of each month and meetings are open to the public.
YOUTH SERVICES PROGRAMS
The East Granby Youth Services Bureau is continuously adding new programs, activities, and events to better serve and engage children, youth, and their families in East Granby.
